Since 1991, MEAF has worked with nonprofit partners to develop curriculum, learning technologies, and corporate alliances to empower youth with disabilities and prepare them for the competitive job market. According to MEAF Senior Director Kevin R. Webb, as published in the November 2022 National Trends in Disability Employment (nTIDE) report by the Kessler Foundation and the University of New Hampshire, despite the small gains made by workers with disabilities, there are still twice as many people with disabilities. are just as likely to be unemployed as people without disabilities. 2.4 million manufacturing jobs will go unfilled by 2028, according to a 2018 survey by Deloitte and The Manufacturing Institute, and a 2018 study by Salesforce and RAND Europe 2021 shows that digital predicting skills. the gap could result in a loss of $11.5 trillion in total GDP growth by 2028.
