The impact of travel will begin to be felt at this time as temperatures drop and snow begins to accumulate in east central and southeastern New Mexico. Snowfall Thursday and Friday will see the heaviest snowfall in east-central and southeastern New Mexico. Those under a winter storm warning can expect 4 to 8 inches of snow through Friday. Parts of Lincoln and Chavez counties could see more snow totals of around a foot.
